Job Summary
IQVIA is seeking a Cardiometabolic Medical Science and Outcomes Liaison (MSOL) based in Chicago, IL, to drive engagement with KOLs and payor decision-makers. This field-based position focuses on disseminating scientific and health economic information related to cardiovascular and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, to national and regional stakeholders.
You’ll lead interactions with healthcare professionals, formulary influencers, IDNs, and ACOs, ensuring impactful delivery of real-world evidence and emerging clinical data in support of IQVIA’s innovative therapeutic portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, payor leaders, and formulary influencers
Educate on clinical developments and scientific data related to cardiovascular and metabolic diseases
Represent medical and scientific perspectives in payor discussions and P&T committees
Deliver engagement plans for payor accounts in collaboration with field and non-field colleagues
Input timely insights and interactions into CRM systems
Participate in advisory boards, scientific booths, and medical affairs initiatives
Bridge internal scientific strategy with external educational and research needs
Required Skills & Qualifications
Advanced clinical/scientific degree: MD, PhD, PharmD, or DNP
5+ years of field medical experience in pharma or healthcare
Minimum 2 years in cardiovascular, endocrinology, or diabetes fields
Experience with health outcomes data and presenting to payors/C-suite preferred
Strong understanding of medical affairs, PhRMA, OIG, and compliant communications
Demonstrated ability to synthesize, interpret, and present clinical data clearly
Excellent verbal communication and project management skills
Ability to travel 40–60% regionally
