Position Overview:
IQVIA is seeking a Cardiometabolic Medical Science and Outcomes Liaison (MSOL) to join our client’s medical affairs team. This field-based role will serve as a scientific and medical expert in Cardiovascular and Metabolic (CV/Metabolics) disease areas, with a particular focus on health outcomes and payer engagement. The MSOL will engage with KOLs, P&T decision-makers, and healthcare systems such as IDNs and ACOs to deliver timely, relevant scientific exchange that supports evidence-based formulary and treatment decisions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage relationships with national, regional, and local KOLs, payer thought leaders, and formulary decision-makers

  • Lead scientific and health-economic discussions with payers, IDNs, ACOs, and pharmacy & medical directors

  • Conduct ethical, customer-focused engagement with HCPs and healthcare systems on CV/metabolic therapies

  • Present health outcome and clinical data to Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committees and senior healthcare leaders

  • Capture and report field insights using CRM tools in a timely and accurate manner

  • Participate in medical affairs activities including advisory boards, scientific congresses, and medical information services

  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to align payer and provider strategies

  • Deliver on engagement plans for target accounts and stakeholders

  • Maintain scientific expertise in Cardiovascular and Diabetes therapy areas


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Advanced degree required: MD, PharmD, PhD, or DNP

  • Minimum 5 years of field medical experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Diabetes, Endocrinology, or Cardiovascular specialties

  • Proven experience in presenting health outcomes data to payer audiences preferred

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data clearly

  • Thorough understanding of PhRMA, OIG, and compliance standards in medical communications

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and travel up to 60%
