Position Overview:
IQVIA is hiring a Cardiometabolic Medical Science and Outcomes Liaison (MSOL) to support our client’s medical affairs team. This field-based position focuses on building scientific relationships and leading clinical and health-economic discussions with key opinion leaders (KOLs), payers, and healthcare systems in the Cardiovascular and Metabolic therapeutic areas.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain medical/scientific relationships with national and regional KOLs, payer opinion leaders, and formulary decision-makers

  • Lead discussions around clinical and health outcomes data with payers, IDNs, and ACOs

  • Provide scientific education and ensure the ethical dissemination of information related to CV/metabolic therapies

  • Support P&T Committee discussions and serve as the scientific point of contact

  • Collect and document field insights and interactions in the CRM system

  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams to meet engagement goals and support educational needs

  • Participate in advisory boards, scientific congresses, and other medical affairs initiatives


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Advanced degree in scientific/health discipline (MD, PharmD, PhD, or DNP)

  • Minimum 5 years of field medical experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular, Diabetes, or Endocrinology

  • Preferred: Experience presenting health outcome data to payers or executive-level healthcare leaders

  • Strong ability to communicate scientific information clearly and effectively

  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills

  • Solid understanding of medical affairs regulations and compliance (PhRMA, OIG)

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and travel 40–60%
