Job Summary:

The Business Development Executive plays a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving growth for Promea. The role involves developing and implementing strategies to expand market presence and achieve revenue targets in the pharmaceutical sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify Business Opportunities:
    • Evaluate emerging pharmaceutical trends and segments to drive business growth.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, distributors, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Strategy Implementation:
    • Develop and implement business development strategies, including marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and product positioning.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work with teams in R&D, marketing, and regulatory affairs to launch new products and services.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management:
    • Lead contract negotiations with potential clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Sales Presentations and Proposals:
    • Prepare and deliver product demos, proposals, and sales presentations to showcase company offerings.
  • Market Monitoring:
    • Analyze sales performance and customer feedback to identify areas for growth and improvement.
  • Industry Networking:
    • Attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand professional relationships and promote the company.
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare reports on sales activities, market insights, and business development progress.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (a degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences is a plus).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development or sales in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market and industry dynamics.
    • Proven ability to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
    • Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
