Role Overview
Mercor is seeking bilingual English–Hindi experts to support a high-impact AI translation quality initiative. You will evaluate AI-generated Hindi content, ensuring accuracy, fluency, and cultural relevance for Indian audiences. This short-term, flexible role allows you to contribute to cutting-edge AI systems while working fully remotely.
Expected commitment: 10+ hours/week
Key Responsibilities
Review AI-generated Hindi content for fluency, clarity, and accuracy.
Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, or tone inconsistencies.
Recommend improvements to ensure idiomatic and culturally appropriate usage in India.
Provide structured feedback on linguistic quality and cultural appropriateness.
Maintain high reading speed and attention to detail across diverse content types.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Native or near-native fluency in Hindi and English.
Deep understanding of contemporary language usage in India.
Minimum 1 year of experience in translation, localization, or language QA.
Excellent reading comprehension and written communication skills.
Strong attention to linguistic nuance and cultural context.
Contract and Payment Terms
Engagement as an independent contractor with fully remote, flexible work.
Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded depending on organizational needs and performance.
Payments are processed weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
Work will not involve access to proprietary or confidential information from any employer or client.
