Job Overview:

The Associate Vice President, Head of Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize Sun’s partnerships with Integrated Delivery Networks. This role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with key IDN stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of pharmaceutical products. The Head of IDNs will lead a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive growth, improve patient access, and enhance operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies for integrated delivery networks that align with Sun’s goals.

  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and key IDN stakeholders.

  • Lead and manage a team of professionals responsible for network integration, contract management, and performance optimization.

  • Oversee the negotiation and development of contracts with healthcare systems and 340B entities.

  • Monitor sales performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory teams to align IDN initiatives.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes.

  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on the status and performance of integrated delivery networks.


Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, etc.) preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry, focusing on integrated delivery networks, managed care, or health systems.

    • Proven success in selling to integrated delivery networks, contract negotiation, and performance optimization.

  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team management skills.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Strategic thinking and strong analytical abilities.

    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IDNs and managed care.

    • Ability to travel as needed to meet with key stakeholders.
