Role Overview:
The CTF Delivery & Performance Analytics role is within the Clinical Trial Foundations (CTF) team, part of Clinical Design, Delivery & Analytics (CDDA). The CTF team leads the strategy and development of contemporary clinical trial processes, technologies, and capabilities. In this position, you will support clinical trial delivery and analytics across various business functions, using tools and technologies like predictive analytics, machine learning, PowerBI, Tableau, Python, R/Shiny, and more. You will collaborate with teams across R&D, Quality, IT, Procurement, and other departments to deliver cutting-edge solutions and enhance clinical trial processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead clinical technology projects across multiple functions, vendors, and external organizations.
  • Ensure seamless process and technology integrations to optimize clinical trial operations.
  • Support business case development and track project success metrics.
  • Provide expertise in implementing new tools and technology for clinical development, including reporting, analytics, and metrics.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and share best practices across functional areas to improve clinical trial efficiency.
  • Support internal audits, external inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and reduce cycle time.
  • Partner with IT and external vendors to optimize the customer experience and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and maintain metrics related to clinical trial performance and report findings to leadership.
  • Support financial and procurement processes related to project budgets, invoices, work orders, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and ensure smooth project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience:
    • Experience in reporting, analytics, and clinical information flow, with expertise in clinical reporting, metrics, and/or analytics processes.
    • Familiarity with evolving technologies in clinical trial analytics and clinical development processes.
    • Experience in clinical drug development or clinical information flow is preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Applied knowledge of tools and technologies such as PowerBI, Tableau, Python, R/Shiny, SAS, etc.
    • Strong understanding of data concepts (data wrangling, modeling, mining) and database structures (schemas, normalization).
    • Experience in predictive analytics, prescriptive analytics, machine learning, and data visualizations.
    • Familiarity with clinical trial data management and systems.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and lead projects.
    • Problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues, anticipate challenges, and implement corrective actions.
    • Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to shifting demands.
    • Project management experience and the ability to oversee vendor management and project delivery.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Power Platform (PowerBI, PowerApps) for business process automation and enhancement.
  • Vendor management and oversight experience.
  • Technical knowledge in clinical or laboratory data and clinical systems management.
