About the Job:

Sanofi is seeking an Associate Project Specialist – Medical Communications to join their Business Operations team in Hyderabad. In this permanent, full-time role, the Associate Project Specialist will support project management for scientific writing and ensure the effective delivery of publications and medical education materials across all phases.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management Support:

    • Assist the scientific writer with project management tasks to ensure effective delivery of publications and medical education materials (slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts).
    • Track and support the delivery of activities, manage issues and risks, and support follow-ups.
    • Ensure adherence to compliance processes, approvals, and publication management tools.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Maintain effective relationships with the medical scientific community, global and local scientific communication teams, and medical content enhancement teams.
    • Support collaboration between internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Budget and Compliance Management:

    • Assist in managing the assigned publication or medical education deliverables within the agreed budget.
    • Track external spend, including approvals, purchase orders, and goods received.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal processes.
  • Quality Assurance & Process Improvement:

    • Ensure the quality, timeliness, and technical standards of publication/medical education materials.
    • Develop tools and processes to enhance productivity and quality.

About You:

  • Experience:

    • 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in project management, scientific/medical writing, and communications within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Experience in project management and scientific/medical writing or communications.
    • Exposure to therapeutic areas and publication submission processes in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Education:

    • University degree in a relevant field (preferably in science).
    • An advanced/postgraduate degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a similar discipline is desirable.
  • Languages:

    • Excellent spoken and written English.
