Purpose of the Role:

The Regional Therapeutic Manager (RTM) is a key field-based marketing role responsible for implementing Lilly's Diabetes & Obesity marketing strategies within a specified region. This role requires a strong foundation in sales and marketing, with a strategic and execution-oriented approach. The RTM will engage healthcare professionals (HCPs), manage omnichannel engagement, and oversee the implementation of central marketing plans. The role also involves influencing HCPs' beliefs, enhancing patient outcomes, and improving brand perception.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Execution of Central Marketing Plan:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to deploy regional brand strategies.
  • Manage the regional marketing OPEX for maximum resource efficiency.
  • Oversee the Omnichannel Engagement (OCE) plan to communicate product value propositions.
  • Ensure strategic planning and compliant execution of marketing activities.
  • Analyze program success, gather field insights, and report data on performance.
  • Coordinate speaker briefings, congresses, and manage areas not covered by the sales team.

Customer Experience, Compliance, and Integrity in Relationship Management:

  • Foster strong, trust-based relationships with external stakeholders and HCPs.
  • Provide customized educational support and scientific resources.
  • Monitor campaign performance, gather feedback, and address necessary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local and company policies, promoting ethical business conduct.

Ownership and Expansion in Strategic Regions:

  • Take ownership of regions without a dedicated sales team and drive growth initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with KOLs and HCPs to promote product adoption.
  • Implement omnichannel engagement strategies to maintain Lilly’s market presence.
  • Regularly visit key accounts and understand their scientific support needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree (preferably in science or business; MBA is a plus).
  • 2-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, marketing, or related roles.
  • Proven track record in customer engagement and territory management.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with pre-launch and launch activities.
