Position Overview:

As an MSL Associate Director specializing in Hematologic Malignancies and Theragnostic/Radioligand Therapies, you will serve as a scientific expert and strategic partner to healthcare professionals (HCPs) across academic and community settings. You will help inform and support the development of cutting-edge treatments while gathering critical insights to guide Lilly’s Oncology strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

Scientific Engagement & Expertise:

  • Develop and maintain deep scientific and clinical knowledge in hematologic malignancies and radioligand/theragnostic therapies.

  • Engage in scientific discussions and respond to unsolicited requests for medical and clinical information from Scientific Experts (SEs).

  • Provide accurate, balanced, and up-to-date scientific information.

Stakeholder Relationship Building:

  • Spend 70–80% of time in the field developing relationships with community and academic HCPs, educators, and investigators.

  • Facilitate collaborative research and connect SEs with Lilly internal resources (e.g., discovery science, clinical research physicians).

  • Serve as the liaison between external stakeholders and Lilly’s internal teams including Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Marketing.

Strategic & Insight-Driven Communication:

  • Deliver feedback and clinical insights to Lilly brand and research teams to influence R&D and commercialization strategy.

  • Regularly participate in medical education meetings, conferences, and peer learning sessions.

  • Lead or contribute to the implementation of strategic field-based initiatives.

Administrative & Compliance Excellence:

  • Maintain proper documentation and reporting via systems like VEEVA, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and PubMed.

  • Comply with legal and ethical standards including documentation, regulatory policies, and data integrity practices.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD, MD, or PhD in a medically related field) with 2–3 years of relevant clinical or medical experience.

  • OR Bachelor’s/Master’s level degree (e.g., RN, RPh, NP, PA) with 5+ years of oncology-focused clinical or medical experience.

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.


Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Clinical background in oncology or hematologic malignancies (hospital or outpatient).

  • Prior experience in radioligand therapies or theragnostics is highly preferred.

  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and digital engagement skills.

  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a field-based setting.

  • Experience navigating academic institutions, IRB processes, or real-world evidence initiatives.

  • Technological proficiency with remote engagement platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom).


Location & Travel Requirements:

  • Candidate should reside near a major airport within the Mid-Atlantic region.

  • Up to 60% overnight travel is expected.

  • Availability to work 4–6 weekends per year (conference support, educational programs, etc.).


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary Range: $145,500 – $213,400
