Job Description

Major Accountabilities:

  1. Technology Workstream Lead for ESO Transformation

    • Lead the implementation of EDI via collaboration platforms (e.g., Ariba Commerce Automation).
    • Implement Ariba SCC, including process/system adjustments based on results.
  2. ESO Technology Projects and Service Portfolio

    • Lead initiatives in parallel with ESO Transformation, focusing on analytics.
    • Align ESO technology with the ERP (SAP ECC) team.

In addition to these areas, the Associate Director will:

  1. Manage vendors throughout the product lifecycle.
  2. Oversee the ESO-related budget for projects and operations.
  3. Ensure a high-quality team environment, promoting inclusion, upskilling, and development.
  4. Lead a Digital & IT cultural change program promoting speed, agility, and customer focus.
  5. Act as the point of escalation for key issues and decisions.

Key Performance Indicators:

  1. Successful delivery of IT solutions for ESO aligned with business and global technology strategies.
  2. Clear definition, measurement, and meeting of KPIs related to customer satisfaction.
  3. Achievement of yearly budget targets for technology projects and operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Work Experience:
Essential:

  • Over 8 years of experience in an IT environment.
  • Over 5 years in IT Project Management.
  • Advanced experience in cross-functional collaboration and managing projects/teams without direct reports.
  • Understanding of supplier collaboration processes (Planning, Logistics, Quality, Procurement).

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Ariba Buying, Guided Buying, and Ariba Network functionality.
  • Experience with Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration.
  • Working experience within the pharmaceutical industry, especially in multinational and global settings.

Languages:

  • Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken).
