Role Summary

The Associate Database Analyst is a key contributor within the Clinical Data Sciences (CDS) division under Clinical Development & Operations. This role focuses on the programming, design, and maintenance of high-quality clinical databases that support global clinical trials.

The position requires collaboration with senior team members to ensure accurate data capture, adherence to database standards, and consistency across clinical study datasets. You will play a vital role in maintaining data integrity and supporting regulatory submissions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain clinical databases aligned with study protocols and regulatory standards

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient data capture solutions for clinical trials

  • Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely clinical data delivery as per study requirements

  • Apply standardized data practices to maintain consistency across submissions and assets

  • Support database programming activities and enhance data collection methodologies

  • Comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and organizational work practices

  • Build expertise in database technologies and clinical data management tools

  • Continuously improve knowledge of therapeutic areas and clinical data requirements


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or regulatory environments

  • Hands-on experience in database programming and data management solutions

  • Technical knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL, SAS, Java, and relational database systems


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with clinical data platforms such as Oracle InForm, Oracle DMW, MS SQL Server, or MS Access

  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Understanding of clinical trial processes, data review, and regulatory submissions

  • Knowledge of CDISC standards and regulatory data requirements is an advantage

  • Ability to manage tasks, collaborate across teams, and meet project timelines
