Job Summary

Medpace, a global leader in Clinical Research Organization (CRO) services for biotechnology companies, is seeking PhD and/or Post-Doctoral Research professionals with expertise in Metabolic research for a full-time, office-based position as an Associate Clinical Trial Manager (aCTM) at our Cincinnati headquarters.

The aCTM will work as part of the Clinical Trial Management team, supporting Project Coordinators and Clinical Trial Managers in executing various project management activities. This position is ideal for candidates eager to apply analytical and academic skills in the clinical research and drug development industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent PhD graduates to gain foundational industry training, collaborate in an international environment, and accelerate their career in Clinical Trial Management (CTM).


Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate and collaborate on global study activities alongside Project Coordinators and Clinical Trial Managers.

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of recurring project tasks.

  • Compile and maintain project-specific status reports within the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS).

  • Liaise with internal teams, Sponsors, study sites, and third-party vendors.

  • Oversee and maintain quality control within internal regulatory filing systems.

  • Supervise and manage study supply logistics.

  • Develop and monitor project timelines and milestones.

  • Coordinate and document project meetings, producing high-quality meeting minutes.


Qualifications

  • PhD in Life Sciences (Metabolic research background preferred).

  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international, and collaborative environment.

  • Prior experience in a CRO or pharmaceutical company is beneficial but not required.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Databases, Windows).

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
