Job Summary
The Associate Project Manager is responsible for the operational and administrative management of IRT (Interactive Response Technology) projects. The role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-budget, and high-quality delivery of project objectives.
You will manage project timelines, financials, and communications, supporting smooth project execution while adhering to IQVIA’s global standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and track project timelines and deliverables.
Oversee project budgets, approvals, and invoice management.
Prepare and distribute progress and financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Present project information and updates during client and internal meetings.
Manage sub-projects or assigned components independently.
Support in the preparation of proposals and RFPs, and participate in business presentations.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Identify and manage out-of-scope activities and negotiate changes when required.
Track project deliverables and billing schedules to ensure accuracy.
Conduct regular progress reviews with team members.
Propose and implement process improvements in collaboration with other project managers.
Serve as a backup to the Project Manager when necessary.
Ensure compliance with IQVIA standard processes, policies, and procedures.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher (any relevant discipline).
Language Proficiency:
Advanced business-level Japanese (mandatory)
Business-level English (mandatory)
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or related roles, preferably within the clinical research or healthcare industry.
Knowledge: Understanding of clinical development processes.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities
High degree of customer orientation, with focus on quality and deadlines
Ability to work independently and proactively
