Job Overview:
The Associate Project Manager manages the operational aspects of projects and programs, ensuring all work is executed according to SOPs, company policies, and standard practices. This role includes project planning, budgeting, reporting, and coordination across teams and stakeholders, as well as supporting sub-projects or specific components of larger programs.
Key Responsibilities:
๐ Project Planning & Execution
Create, track, and report on project timelines.
Manage project budgets, approve invoices, and monitor financial deliverables.
Produce and distribute status, tracking, and financial reports for internal/external teams and senior management.
Prepare and present project information at internal and external meetings.
May handle sub-projects or specific project components.
Coordinate with project resources within and outside the organization.
๐ก Process & Compliance
Ensure all work complies with standard processes, policies, and procedures.
Partner with other Project Managers to develop and implement process improvements.
Serve as a backup contact for internal Project Managers.
Identify and negotiate out-of-scope project work.
๐ต Financial Management
Track project deliverables and invoicing.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
๐ค Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Meet with team members regularly to ensure project milestones are met.
Provide input for project proposals and RFPs.
Participate in proposal development and sales presentations, if assigned.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
