About the Role
As an Associate Medical Data Review Manager, you will provide comprehensive medical review expertise to ensure accurate, high-quality clinical data management products. You will work closely with clinical study teams, key decision-makers, and internal stakeholders to manage processes, escalate issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Review patient data to identify anomalies and ensure medical plausibility per protocol.
Provide project management support with minimal guidance, including:
Process improvement initiatives
Workload projections
Issue escalation and resolution
Technical expertise to the team
Maintain strong customer relationships and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Track service performance, identify root causes of issues, and implement remedial actions.
Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of compliance-related issues.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve task efficiency and deliverable quality.
Provide therapeutic area/indication training for the clinical project team.
Attend Kick-Off meetings, weekly team meetings, and client meetings as needed.
Qualifications
Education: MBBS (with 2+ years of experience) or MD (any experience) / Fresher eligible.
Experience in clinical data sciences within a CRO, pharmaceutical company, or medical environment, with demonstrated leadership potential.
Strong understanding of clinical and medical data, including:
Medical terminology
Pharmacology
Anatomy & physiology
Ability to manage operational metrics and take appropriate actions for resolution.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
Strong customer focus and ability to build effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
