🎯 Your Role: Assistant – Quality Control

As part of the Quality Control team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely analysis, maintaining high standards of compliance, and continuously improving quality processes in a pharmaceutical and specialty chemical environment.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete sampling and analysis within defined turnaround time.

  • Ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and first-time-right analysis.

  • Retest and analyze samples as per timelines; trend and interpret data.

  • Maintain lab logbooks, registers, and documentation (e.g., Lab Notebooks).

  • Maintain and calibrate analytical instruments and ensure a clean, organized workspace.

  • Prepare standards and stock solutions for analysis.

  • Communicate technical findings to supervisors, customers, and internal teams.

  • Support investigations for deviations, defects, or non-conformities.

  • Implement Kaizen initiatives to:

    • Reduce costs

    • Enhance purity

    • Eliminate safety hazards

    • Improve consistency

  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) teams.

  • Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Comply with and promote the Quality Management System (QMS) standards.


👤 Who You Are:

🧬 Education:

  • Master’s degree in:

    • Chemistry

    • Biochemistry

    • Analytical Chemistry

    • Biotechnology

    • M. Pharm

    • Ph.D. (preferred)

🧪 Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years in:

    • Pharmaceutical industry

    • Specialty chemicals

    • Contract Research Organizations (CROs)

📊 Mandatory Skills:

  • Analytical Techniques Proficiency:

    • HPLC

    • GC-MS

    • LC-MS

    • NMR

    • IR

    • Titration

    • CHNS analysis
