About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Scientific & Research Publication Writer to join our Hyderabad team. This role focuses on producing high-quality, original manuscripts and scholarly articles for submission to peer-reviewed journals, including Scopus, Web of Science, and PubMed-indexed publications.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with researchers, subject matter experts, and editors to present complex scientific information in a clear, concise, and ethically sound manner. Additionally, the role supports marketing teams, regulatory documentation, project management, and vendor management activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manuscript Drafting: Draft, structure, and organize research papers, review articles, white papers, and regulatory documents using input from researchers.
Research & Analysis: Conduct literature reviews and editorial research to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and depth.
Editing & Proofreading: Ensure clarity, grammar accuracy, consistency, and adherence to journal-specific guidelines (e.g., APA, AMA, Chicago).
Data Presentation: Assist researchers in visualizing and presenting complex data, figures, and results effectively.
Compliance & Ethics: Maintain ethical standards in publications, including originality, proper citation, and data integrity.
Collaboration: Work with co-authors, editors, and publishers to manage submission and peer-review processes. Implement revisions based on feedback.
Project & Vendor Management: Support ongoing projects, coordinate with vendors, and assist with clinical outsourcing activities.
AI Integration: Use AI tools like ChatGPT responsibly for drafting non-critical sections, grammar checks, or outline generation while ensuring human oversight and content integrity.
Candidate Profile
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering, Journalism, Communications, or related fields.
PhD is a plus but not required.
Experience:
Fresher candidates or those with up to 2 years of academic or scientific writing experience are encouraged to apply.
Academic internships, research project experience, or publication exposure is advantageous.
Skills & Knowledge:
Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
Strong research and analytical abilities, including experience with academic databases like PubMed or Google Scholar.
Familiarity with manuscript submission systems, content management tools, and reference management software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
High attention to detail, organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
