Job Purpose

  • Deliver high-standard scientific and medical expertise for regional medical information.

  • Engage with Key External Experts (KEEs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

  • Provide scientific inputs to support regional business strategy.


Key Responsibilities

1. Scientific Engagement & HCP Interaction

  • Build and maintain credible networks with Health Care Practitioners (HCPs).

  • Plan and conduct CMEs, symposia, trainings, workshops, scientific meetings, and speaker tours.

  • Deliver consistent, “on-label” scientific presentations at medical education events.

  • Understand and follow Scientific Engagement (SE) principles and Promotional Code.

2. Oncology Expertise Development

  • Become a subject expert in oncology areas where GSK has brands.

  • Stay updated on oncology science, GSK molecules, and PI for accurate, compliant communication.

3. Research Support

  • Support feasibility evaluation of research sites.

  • Assist in development of field study materials: concept notes, proposals, budgets, data collection tools.

4. Brand Strategy Support

  • Provide medical insight and scientific inputs to drive and execute brand strategy.

5. Pharmacovigilance

  • Support the Named Safety Contact (NSC) in strengthening oncology pharmacovigilance.

  • Ensure continuous self-learning of PV processes.


Education Requirements

Minimum

  • MBBS with postgraduate qualification

Preferred

  • Postgraduate qualification in Pharmacology / Public Health
    Reason: Helpful for engaging with specialized HCPs.


Experience Requirements

Experience Level

  • 1–2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Preferably in oncology; hemato-oncology experience strongly preferred

Skills & Experience Needed

  • Excellent written and verbal communication (English + local language)

  • Experience delivering scientific presentations

  • Understanding of ICH-GCP, ethical research practices, and SOPs

  • Ability to interpret scientific data, research design, and methodologies
