Job Title: Accounts Receivable (AR) Associate

Department: Revenue Cycle Management

Role Overview:

The AR Associate is responsible for managing daily operations related to denials processing, claims follow-up, and customer service. This role ensures adherence to client specifications and productivity standards while maintaining high-quality outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

Denials Management & Claims Follow-up:

  • Review and analyze denials and claims for resolution.
  • Call insurance carriers, document notes in the relevant software, and update required spreadsheets.
  • Take appropriate actions to resolve issues and escalate unresolved problems to the immediate supervisor.

Client & Productivity Management:

  • Understand client requirements and project specifications thoroughly.
  • Ensure targeted collections are achieved daily and monthly.
  • Meet productivity targets within the stipulated deadlines.
  • Maintain adherence to quality standards for all deliverables.

Operational Tasks:

  • Review emails regularly for updates and take necessary actions.
  • Update production logs and prepare detailed status reports.
  • Ensure proper follow-up on pending claims to achieve timely resolutions.

Desired Profile:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) or similar roles is preferred but not mandatory.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using spreadsheets and healthcare-related software.
  • Ability to identify and escalate issues proactively.
  • Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
