Summary
The Senior Clinical Programmer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of producing key data and reports to support data review reporting development. This includes evaluating requirements, designing specifications, coordinating validation, and rollout activities, while providing quantitative analytical support. The role involves working independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Data Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce and track reports for various line functions within Global Drug Development, ensuring clinical data is actively monitored.

  • Author/co-author user requirements documents, functional specifications, and testing scripts for clinical reports.

  • Provide quantitative analytical support to global program teams, analyzing reports for actionable insights.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Facilitate interactions with end-users, creating specifications, and working with programmers to deliver reports successfully.

  • Work with internal SMEs and key stakeholders to analyze and interpret clinical program/trial operational data.

  • Provide study-level expertise and involvement in Clinical Trial Teams (CTTs).

Programming & Technical Expertise

  • Program reports of varying complexity from documented requirements within clinical reporting systems using SQL, PL/SQL, C#, VB script, SAS, Python, or R.

  • Support special projects, both clinical and non-clinical in nature, which may involve systems issues, processes, user support, and training.

Support for Clinical Programs

  • Support the planning, execution, and close-out of Clinical Programs/Trials.

  • Manage the collation and delivery of analytics reports for critical decision-making within the organization.

  • Provide necessary training to end-users on the appropriate and consistent use of data review tools.
