Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Training Officer to take charge of developing and implementing effective staff training programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying training needs, creating learning programs, and delivering training to employees. As a Training Officer, you will play a key role in improving the skills and knowledge of our employees through various training methods, including on-the-job coaching, mentorship, and e-learning.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Needs Assessment:

    • Identify and assess current and future training needs by conducting job analyses, reviewing career paths, performance appraisals, and consulting with line managers.
  • Training Program Development:

    • Design and create instructional materials, classroom handouts, aids, manuals, and e-learning content for training programs.
  • Structured Learning Delivery:

    • Organize and oversee structured learning experiences such as workshops, seminars, and online courses.
    • Monitor the quality and effectiveness of the learning programs.
  • Employee Onboarding:

    • Conduct orientation sessions to acclimate new hires to the company culture and job responsibilities.
  • Training Delivery:

    • Deliver training courses and presentations to employees, ensuring clear communication and engagement.
  • Evaluation & Effectiveness:

    • Assess the effectiveness of training programs by monitoring how employees apply taught skills and techniques in their daily tasks.
    • Conduct periodic evaluations of ongoing programs to ensure they remain relevant and reflect any changes in processes or policies.
  • Professional Development:

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in employee development to ensure continuous improvement in training methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Qualification:

    • MBA, MHRM, or a relevant qualification in Human Resources, Education, or related field.
  • Experience:

    • 2-5 years of experience in a training role, with a focus on employee development, training program delivery, and needs assessment.
  • Certifications:

    • Relevant training certifications as a trainer (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance or similar certifications).
  • Skills:

    • Strong presentation and communication skills.
    • Experience with various training methods such as on-the-job coaching, mentorship programs, and e-learning platforms.
    • Ability to assess and analyze training effectiveness.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Other:
