About the Role
Our Indore-based regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing plant is seeking a Technician – Nasal Spray Manufacturing, Filling & Packaging to support our respiratory product production line. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in sterile/nasal spray operations who are detail-oriented, process-driven, and committed to cGMP compliance. The Technician will operate, monitor, and maintain filling and packaging equipment while ensuring product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in a cleanroom environment.

Reporting To: Executive / Officer – Production
Department: Production – Respiratory (Nasal Spray)

Key Responsibilities

1. Nasal Spray Filling Operations

  • Set up and operate sterile filtration and nasal filling machines (semi-automatic / automatic).

  • Ensure proper bottle positioning, nozzle placement, and container crimping/sealing.

  • Perform in-process checks for fill volume, crimp integrity, and visual inspection.

  • Maintain cleanroom discipline and aseptic techniques throughout operations.

2. Nasal Spray Packaging Operations

  • Operate packaging machines for primary and secondary packaging, including cartoning, labeling, and overwrapping.

  • Support online batch coding, serialization, and leaflets insertion.

  • Conduct visual verification of final packaged products to ensure quality standards.

3. Cleaning & Line Clearance

  • Clean machines and work areas before and after production as per SOPs.

  • Assist in line clearance, reconciliation, and coordination with QA.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Accurately maintain logbooks, equipment usage logs, and process registers.

  • Report any equipment malfunctions, operational abnormalities, or quality deviations to the supervisor.

5. Compliance & Safety

  • Follow cGMP, GDP, and regulatory safety guidelines.

  • Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to cleanroom gowning procedures.

  • Maintain hygiene and housekeeping in the manufacturing and packaging areas.

Skills & Competencies

  • Hands-on experience with filling, crimping, and packaging equipment.

  • Knowledge of cleanroom behavior and aseptic practices.

  • Ability to follow SOPs accurately in English and Hindi.

  • Strong teamwork, alertness, and adherence to operational protocols.

Educational Qualifications

  • ITI / 12th Pass / Diploma (Engineering or Pharmaceutical Discipline)

Experience Required

  • 1–4 years of experience in sterile nasal spray filling and packaging within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

  • Experience in USFDA, MHRA, or WHO-GMP compliant facilities is preferred.
