Job Overview

Support the Clinical Pharmacology Start-up team in initiating Early Phase clinical trials. Provide high-quality care to participants, assist in clinical procedures, and ensure efficient trial operations. This is a full-time, rotating-shift, office-based position.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Accurately perform vital signs measurements: blood pressure, weights, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature readings.

  • Prepare and accurately record ECGs and Holters.

  • Collect and process biological samples per protocol and ensure proper distribution.

  • Monitor participant meals for dietary compliance.

  • Assist in preparation of rooms and medical equipment.

  • Support screening procedures as needed.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work and study environment.

  • Perform other duties as required.


Qualifications / Skills

Minimum Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 0–1 year of clinical research experience.

  • Previous clinical experience preferred but not mandatory; recent graduates are considered.

Preferred Certifications:

  • EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA, or CNA certification.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Clinical skills and judgment for participant care.

  • Teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable working with technology and electronic data capture systems.


Work Environment

  • Laboratory and clinical setting with exposure to biological fluids.

  • Occasional driving to site locations and domestic travel.

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) required (eyewear, gloves, garments).

  • Varied hours may be required.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in upright/stationary positions for 6–8 hours/day.

  • Repetitive hand movements for lab equipment operation.

  • Occasional crouching, stooping, bending, and twisting of upper body/neck.

  • Light to moderate lifting (15–20 lbs).

  • Regular and consistent attendance.
