This position is ideal for experienced professionals seeking to contribute to high-impact manufacturing processes within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.


Key Responsibilities

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing projects, setting operational objectives, and overseeing people, technology, and financial resources.

  • Identifying, evaluating, and implementing process or product improvements using innovative, data-driven approaches.

  • Solving complex operational challenges by applying experience from multiple functional areas.

  • Managing the performance of direct and indirect reports, supporting team goals, and providing performance insights to senior leadership.

  • Ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

  • Developing and guiding a team of process technicians, optimizing equipment utilization, and leading Lean Tool implementation.

  • Supporting SMART objective development, sharing operational best practices, and overseeing performance management and training for shift teams and contingent staff.


Minimum Experience and Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following experience requirements:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience, or

  • Associate degree with 6+ years of experience, or

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) with 2+ years of experience, or

  • MBA/MS with relevant experience (any duration accepted)

Additionally, candidates must demonstrate:

  • Proven people-management experience within regulated manufacturing operations

  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

  • Working knowledge of Upstream/Downstream cGMP manufacturing operations

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

  • Solid decision-making and problem-solving capability


Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following will be prioritized:

  • Direct experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry

  • Hands-on knowledge of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement tools

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to identify team development needs and create structured growth opportunities

  • Experience maintaining regulatory compliance through established programs


Work Environment

Work Location: On-premise
This role requires full-time physical presence at the Vizag manufacturing site.
