    Job Title: Team Lead Data Management
    Location: India

    Job Description:

    The Team Lead Data Management will be responsible for overseeing the Data Management staff, ensuring that clinical trials are conducted in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and project agreements. This role includes managing a team, prioritizing resources across projects, and ensuring that high-quality Data Management deliverables are met on time.

    Responsibilities:

    Line Management:

    • Lead a team of Data Management professionals and manage their workload, welfare, and development.
    • Define and prioritize resource requirements for various projects and manage resource allocation.
    • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and integration of new staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
    • Meet regularly with team members to review performance and developmental needs.
    • Handle performance management, including setting goals, conducting competency assessments, and coordinating promotions.
    • Approve leave requests, timesheets, and ensure alignment with company policies.

    Data Management Deliverables:

    • Provide expert review and guidance on deliverables including CRF/e-CRF, database design, validation, Data Management Plan, and programming.
    • Manage the scope, budget, and assumptions of projects, ensuring proper execution.
    • May serve as Project Manager or Project Lead for major studies.
    • Assist in creating and reviewing proposals and change orders.

    Biometrics Support Management:

    • Lead training and development initiatives for team members to foster growth within the Data Management group.
    • Collaborate with Project Management and CDM functions to identify opportunities for improving project team support.

    General:

    • Ensure adherence to company policies and maintain a quality-minded approach in all duties.
    • Contribute to the review and development of Novotech SOPs and guidelines.
    • Identify inefficiencies and propose recommendations for improvement.
    • Maintain a professional image of the company through all external communications and interactions with the Data Management team.

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

    • Degree in clinical, biological, mathematical sciences, or related field with 4-6 years of relevant experience.
    • Advanced knowledge of Data Management processes and systems.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Proven leadership abilities, including managing a team and resolving issues.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Previous people management experience is preferred.
