Supervisor - In Vitro Toxicology

Position Overview:

Labcorp is seeking a Supervisor - In Vitro Toxicology to manage a team of 7 technicians within the Aerosol section of the In Vitro Toxicology department. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on laboratory work and team leadership, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and compliance of scientific studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accuracy, quality, timeliness, and completeness of all work in the assigned area.
  • Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and staff training.
  • Ensure the quality of study data, raw data, and reports, including equipment functionality.
  • Provide supervisory support for all team members within the operational and support section.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum: A-levels or equivalent. A degree in a relevant scientific field is preferred (experience may be considered as a substitute for education).
  • Supervisory experience in a laboratory setting, ideally within a regulatory and fast-paced environment.
  • Previous staff management experience required.
  • Knowledge/experience in In Vitro Toxicology is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines.
