We are seeking a Sub-Investigator to support our Miami clinical research team. This role is critical in overseeing day-to-day clinical trial conduct, ensuring adherence to study protocols, and providing care to enrolled participants.


Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of clinical trial protocols and study documentation.

  • Perform clinical assessments and examinations in accordance with the study protocol.

  • Screen and enroll participants, evaluating eligibility based on inclusion/exclusion criteria.

  • Conduct informed consent discussions, ensuring participants understand study procedures.

  • Monitor participant safety, including reviewing laboratory results, ECGs, and other clinical data.

  • Document and manage adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs), coordinating with the Principal Investigator and sponsor as necessary.

  • Assist in recruitment efforts while maintaining Good Clinical Practice (GCP) compliance.

  • Supervise, mentor, and support research staff in daily clinical operations.

  • Collaborate with laboratory teams, sponsors, and other stakeholders to ensure study integrity and participant safety.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the clinical research team.


Required Qualifications

  • Medical Doctor (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) from an accredited institution.

  • Active and appropriate licensure/permits for clinical practice.

  • 2–5 years of relevant clinical research experience.

  • Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH, GLP, EMA, and other regulatory guidelines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with clinical software preferred.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish for effective communication with diverse participants.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to travel as required (approximately 10%).

Salary Range

$67,700 – $115,100 (varies based on experience, qualifications, and proficiency).
