Position Overview

As a Strategic Business Manager, you will collaborate across business units, operations, finance, legal compliance, and global functions to drive commercial strategies, pricing models, and digital initiatives. Your role will be instrumental in shaping short- and long-term strategic plans, managing product launches, and delivering market insights to support key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive commercial strategy, pricing strategies, and digital transformation across business units.
  • Develop and streamline launch excellence processes for new products and indications.
  • Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and analysis to support business development.
  • Partner with digital service providers to deliver innovative solutions to business challenges.
  • Enhance marketing excellence and digital capabilities for commercial effectiveness.
  • Build forecasting models to evaluate new product launch viability and in-market strategies.
  • Manage cross-functional teams and execute Joint Business Plans for strategic alignment.

Key Stakeholders:

  • Internal: Country leadership, Sales & Marketing teams, Finance, IT, Medical & Regulatory, Operations, and Regional/Global Functions.
  • External: Market research agencies, consultants, and digital service providers.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • MBA from a Tier 1 or Premium B-School.
  • 6-8 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in top-tier consulting firms.
  • 2-3 years of project management experience with expertise in handling cross-functional teams.
  • Strong collaboration and partnership-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex business scenarios and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Project management certification or knowledge of relevant tools.
  • Willingness to travel within India as required.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the India Pharma Market and its dynamics.
  • Ability to think innovatively and drive strategic initiatives.
