The Opportunity:

As a Quality Control Technician I, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy, quality, and compliance of laboratory operations. This role involves handling analytical instruments, conducting method validation and transfer, performing calibrations, and managing deviations and investigations in the laboratory environment. You will also be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instrument Handling: Operate and manage analytical instruments, including HPLC/GC, GCMS MS, and ICMS.
  • Method Validation: Conduct method transfer and method validation activities to ensure accurate and reliable testing results.
  • Calibration & Validation: Perform calibration and validation of laboratory instruments/equipment, including pH meters and analytical balances.
  • Investigation & Reporting: Investigate deviations, out-of-specifications (OOS), out-of-trend (OOT) results, and other analytical issues, reporting them as needed.
  • Maintenance & Compliance: Maintain laboratory instruments, logbooks, and relevant registers. Ensure compliance with data integrity policies and procedures.
  • Regulatory Support: Be skilled in handling regulatory inspections, ensuring all processes are compliant with industry standards.
  • Safety Protocols: Adhere to defined safety procedures while conducting daily laboratory activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: M.Sc. in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Pharmacy, etc.).
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a laboratory environment, particularly in quality control and analytical testing.
  • Skills: Familiarity with HPLC/GC, GCMS, and ICMS instruments, method validation, and data integrity standards.
