Senior/Lead MICC Associate – Pharmacovigilance and Safety

Job Purpose

The Senior/Lead MICC Associate is responsible for managing Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) operations, ensuring accurate case intake, follow-up, documentation, and mentoring of team members. The role also supports audits and contributes to maintaining high-quality standards in client communication.


Key Responsibilities

MICC Operations & Case Management

  • Receive and manage calls and/or emails related to Adverse Events (AE), Product Quality Complaints (PQC), Medical Information (MI), and General Inquiries (GI).

  • Perform case intake, duplicate checks, and registration.

  • Conduct follow-up inquiries via phone and email, including translation when inquiries are not in English.

  • Develop all required documents and documentation for MICC cases.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Act as a mentor for MICC team members, providing guidance and support.

  • Ensure adherence to team processes and best practices.

Audit & Compliance Support

  • Support internal and external audits related to MICC operations.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal pharmacovigilance standards.


Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Subject matter expert in Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) operations for Pharmacovigilance.

  • Senior role: 3–5 years of relevant experience.

  • Lead role: 5–7 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and cross-functional coordination.

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Allied Health Sciences, or related disciplines.
