Senior Manager, GxP Training & Learning (T&L)

About the Role

Are you passionate about building a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence? As the Senior Manager, GxP T&L, you will lead a dynamic team dedicated to elevating GxP training standards across Novartis Operations. This role allows you to design and implement scalable processes, ensure compliance, and foster a growth mindset. You will be at the forefront of developing a GxP training ecosystem that empowers associates, strengthens regulatory excellence, and supports our vision of being Curious, Inspired, and Unbossed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Training & Learning team to ensure GxP compliance and operational excellence.

  • Design, implement, and standardize training processes aligned with regulatory requirements and business objectives.

  • Oversee creation and maintenance of qualification frameworks and training interventions for associate readiness.

  • Ensure effective and compliant use of the Learning Management System (LMS) while driving continuous improvements.

  • Manage end-to-end training reporting processes, including timely delivery of periodic and ad hoc compliance reports.

  • Provide audit and inspection support related to the Training Quality System, ensuring readiness and accurate documentation.

  • Foster a culture of learning by promoting curiosity, coaching talent, and enabling robust career development pathways.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Pharmacy, Science, or Business Administration preferred.

  • Minimum 8 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, ideally in manufacturing environments.

  • At least 5 years in a leadership role within GxP training and learning functions.

  • Strong knowledge of Good Practice (GxP) standards, audit management, and inspection preparedness.

  • Proven track record of leading teams, coaching talent, and driving continuous learning culture.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across global, cross-functional teams.
