Key Skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of IMS (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
  • Proficiency in EHS rules, regulations, and compliance
  • Strong computer skills and site management experience
  • Expertise in preparing SOPs, OCPs, and safe work methods
  • Knowledge of RCA, FTA, FMEA, 5S, Kaizen, and SAP

Duties & Responsibilities

EHS Management

  1. Standards Implementation:

    • Ensure compliance with ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 45001.
    • Update and maintain EHS documentation, including manuals, procedures, and emergency plans.
  2. Risk Assessment:

    • Conduct risk assessments and environmental aspect-impact analysis for all activities.
    • Identify significant EHS aspects, prioritize risks, and set compliance goals.
  3. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure 100% compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
    • Maintain a permit tracking log and monitor updates to regulatory requirements.
  4. Daily Safety Observations:

    • Perform daily safety checks and communicate findings to functional heads.
    • Ensure daily implementation of work permits and toolbox talks.

Training and Awareness

  • Prepare and implement an EHS training calendar.
  • Conduct EHS induction for employees, workmen, and visitors.
  • Organize live fire extinguisher demonstrations and safety committee meetings.

Incident Management

  • Investigate incidents and accidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective/preventive actions.
  • Maintain trackers for first aid, near-miss incidents, and emergency response plans.

Inspection and Audits

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and quarterly inspections using checklists.
  • Prepare audit reports, action plans, and ensure timely compliance.
  • Manage internal audits and maintain all pollution control measures.

Waste and Energy Management

  • Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal per regulatory standards.
  • Monitor energy and water consumption, ensuring sustainable practices.

Celebrations and Rewards

  • Organize events such as National Safety Week, Road Safety Week, and World Environment Day.
  • Manage employee recognition programs related to EHS compliance.

Documentation Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain EHS MIS reports.
  • Maintain records and reports required for corporate and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and document air, water, and noise emissions regularly.

Additional Requirements

  • Strong understanding of environmental safety, workplace hazard control, and emergency preparedness.
  • Ability to conduct safety committee meetings and implement inspection processes effectively.
