Role Overview

As a Senior Clinical Analytics Analyst, you will design and implement advanced analytics solutions to support key business decisions for Maxor’s Clinical Analytics and Product Development teams. Your expertise will involve working with pharmacy and PBM data, creating automated reporting processes, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Analyze clinical data to support business needs and strategic decisions.
  • Automate processes for report generation and improve end-user experience.
  • Build and execute advanced SQL queries across multiple systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analytics requirements.
  • Develop and maintain clinical risk algorithms and forecast outcomes.
  • Provide ad-hoc clinical analytics, supporting business intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS.
  • Ensure compliance with Maxor’s Ethical Business Conduct policies.
  • Participate in quality control, UAT, and methodology development for clinical analytics products.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Decision Sciences, Computer Science, Business Management, or related fields (Master’s preferred).

Experience:

  • 3+ years of analytics experience in healthcare (PBM, Managed Care, or Health Plans preferred).
  • Advanced SQL coding and process development (2+ years required).
  • Familiarity with pharmacy and PBM data preferred.
  • Knowledge of BI/Reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SSRS).
  • Experience with business process automation and web reporting solutions.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills (e.g., VBA, ODBC, VLOOKUP).
  • Competency in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Cognos.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking to translate business needs into actionable insights.
