About the Role

As a Senior Associate – HEVA (Evidence Synthesis), you will contribute to executing Evidence Synthesis projects that support Sanofi’s health economics and value-based evidence generation. You will assist in the development of robust evidence to support the value propositions of Sanofi’s programs/products for global and local markets. Working under the guidance of the Manager/Team Lead, you will contribute to the design and execution of health economics research, such as burden of illness studies, meta-analyses, economic evaluations, patient-reported outcomes, and more.

The role requires the ability to innovate in evidence generation, effectively communicate with stakeholders, and support the development of key materials like core value dossiers and AMCP dossiers. You will also maintain a strong focus on delivering evidence to optimize market access and reimbursement decisions.


Key Responsibilities

Research & Evidence Generation

  • Support Evidence Synthesis Projects: Assist the team in executing assigned projects, such as search strategy development, data extraction, report writing, and quality assurance.
  • Economic Modeling & Trial Design: Contribute to health economics research projects, including economic models and recommendations for trial designs to support product value.
  • Health Economics Expertise: Stay updated on key therapeutic areas (TAs) to contribute valuable insights and research direction.

Study & Project Execution

  • Study Management: Assist in the execution of HEVA studies, including epidemiology, burden of illness studies, observational studies, and economic evaluations.
  • Core Value Dossiers (CVD): Contribute to the development of strategic evidence material, such as CVD and AMCP dossiers, and provide guidance on their strategic direction.
  • Evidence Dissemination: Support the development of evidence generation plans to support reimbursement decisions and product access.

Process Optimization & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization to enhance the quality and impact of evidence generation activities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work with various global teams, including Clinical, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and RWE, to identify evidence needs and ensure timely delivery of relevant research outputs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other teams to customize deliverables and meet the specific needs of internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research) in the pharmaceutical industry, CRO consultancy, or academia.

Skills

  • Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to manage relationships and collaborate with global teams.
  • Writing & Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in evidence synthesis and reporting.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to translate clinical and economic data into actionable insights for payer strategies.
  • Health Economics Expertise: Knowledge of methods and principles of health economics, HTA (Health Technology Assessment), and reimbursement processes.

Education

  • Advanced Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related discipline, or Medical Degree.

Languages

  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.
