Job Description:

Are you ready to take on a strategic role in the field of Medical Affairs, driving impactful change in Diabetes and GLP-1? Join us as a Specialist in Medical Affairs, contributing to medical strategy and GMA activities across focus areas for GMA-BLR accountable products within Diabetes. Be part of a dynamic, innovative team and lead the way in advancing medical knowledge, scientific communication, and evidence generation.

The Position

As a Specialist in Medical Affairs, you will be responsible for:

  • Scientific Data Communication: Generating, interpreting, and communicating scientific data to ensure the proper usage of NN products in the Diabetes and GLP-1 areas.

  • Clinical Insights: Providing clinical insights into the impact of new findings on current and future treatments of diabetes.

  • Strategic Direction: Working with the Manager and key collaborators to set strategic direction.

  • Cross-Functional Representation: Representing GMA in relevant cross-functional forums.

  • Global Medical Affairs Deliverables: Supporting the Global Medical Affairs deliverables, including cross-organizational collaboration, development of global medical affairs strategy, and guidance of team members for continuous development and growth.

Qualifications

  • Clinical Activities: Aligning and timing clinical activities, providing market-oriented medical input to trial design and protocol development, and overseeing Investigator Sponsored Studies (ISS) coordination and progress.

  • KOL Engagement: Independently driving the strategy, development, and execution of scientific communication during global meetings and gathering and analyzing medical and scientific feedback from KOL interactions.

  • Publication Planning: Overseeing strategic publication planning and ensuring high-quality publication in a timely manner according to the medical communication strategy.

  • Scientific and Medical Education: Supporting the development and execution of medical education activities and executing global medical education and medical communication plans to ensure KOL/HCP recognition and understanding of the clinical profile of compounds.

  • Required Qualification: M.D. with substantial clinical and/or research expertise in relevant areas.
