Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced SPE – Medical Coding (Healthcare) professional to support accurate and compliant coding of healthcare products and medical documentation. This role operates in a hybrid work model, offering flexibility while contributing to high-quality healthcare operations. The successful candidate will leverage strong medical coding expertise to enhance billing accuracy, regulatory compliance, and overall operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and compliant coding of healthcare products in line with industry standards and regulatory guidelines

  • Review and analyze medical documentation to assign appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes for billing and reimbursement

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to validate and update coding information within patient records

  • Utilize medical coding software and tools to manage and maintain coding data efficiently

  • Conduct regular coding audits to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance

  • Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement in coding workflows

  • Stay current with evolving coding standards, payer policies, and healthcare regulations

  • Support the development and enhancement of coding policies, procedures, and best practices

  • Assist in training and mentoring team members on coding methodologies and systems

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve coding-related issues and discrepancies

  • Support implementation of new coding systems, tools, and technologies

  • Participate in team meetings to align coding practices with organizational and quality objectives

  • Deliver high-quality coding outcomes that support patient care and business performance


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in medical coding within the healthcare industry

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare products, medical terminology, and clinical documentation

  • Proficiency in medical coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems

  • Excellent analytical and documentation review skills

  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on compliance and accuracy

  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities

  • Ability to adapt to changing coding guidelines and healthcare technologies


Certifications (Mandatory)

  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
