Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and cross-functional teams to verify and update coding data.

  • Utilize specialized coding software for efficient data management and record-keeping.

  • Conduct regular audits to maintain coding accuracy and identify areas for process improvement.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize coding workflows and operational efficiency.

  • Assist in the training of new team members on coding practices and software usage.

  • Stay updated with coding guidelines, healthcare regulations, and industry changes.

  • Support the implementation of new coding systems and technologies within the organization.

  • Participate in meetings to align coding practices with organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical coding within the healthcare or RCM industry.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare products, medical coding standards, and practices.

  • Proficiency in using coding software and tools for efficient data management.

  • Excellent analytical and attention-to-detail skills to ensure coding precision and compliance.

  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with healthcare teams and stakeholders.

Certifications Required

  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
