Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Medical Coding to lead and support coding operations for orthopaedic surgery records. This position requires strong domain knowledge, advanced coding expertise, and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
Accurately code orthopaedic surgery medical records with a minimum 96% accuracy while meeting defined turnaround time (TAT) requirements.
Consistently achieve and exceed productivity benchmarks for surgery medical coding.
Continuously enhance coding competence by staying updated with current coding guidelines and attending relevant professional or educational sessions.
Provide training, mentorship, and knowledge support to junior surgery coders to strengthen team performance and compliance.
Qualifications
Graduate in Life Sciences or related discipline.
Mandatory coding certifications: CPC, CCS (or equivalent recognized certifications).
Experience Required
Minimum 6 years of hands-on medical coding experience, specifically in surgery/orthopaedics.
Overall 8 years of professional experience in the healthcare domain or medical coding environment.
