Basic Qualifications:

  • PhD in Statistics (with or without experience) or MSc in Statistics with over 4 years of relevant experience.

  • Expertise in a broad range of statistical methodologies (e.g., Experimental design, mixed models, Bayesian methods, linear and nonlinear regression).

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to explain statistical methods to both statisticians and clinical colleagues.

  • Strong influencing skills applicable at all organizational levels and across multiple functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience applying methodologies such as experimental design, mixed models, Bayesian methods, linear and nonlinear regression, and repeated measures.

  • Experience with modeling and simulation, and other innovative methodologies.

  • Evidence of statistical innovation and technical strength in clinical trial domains.

  • Experience in regulatory submissions and interaction with regulatory bodies.

  • Experience working with and coordinating CROs.

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide statistical input for the design, analysis, reporting, and interpretation of clinical studies.

  • Influence clinical development plans, regulatory strategies, and commercial strategies.

  • Build and maintain effective strategic working relationships internally and externally.

  • Identify, develop, and implement novel statistical methodologies supporting medicine development.

  • Stay updated with the latest developments in statistics and explore their applicability within GSK.

  • Manage conflicting demands and priorities effectively.

  • Develop creative solutions for complex problems.
