Labcorp is hiring an experienced Senior Statistician for its Bangalore office. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in biostatistics, SAS programming, clinical data analysis, statistical reporting, and pharmaceutical research.

If you are looking to build a long-term career in clinical research, CRO operations, pharmaceutical statistics, drug development, and regulatory-compliant statistical analysis, this role offers excellent exposure to global clinical projects and cross-functional collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement statistical methodologies for clinical and research study data analysis

  • Perform advanced statistical analysis and interpretation of pharmaceutical study data

  • Handle SAS programming activities for data presentation, statistical outputs, and analysis

  • Deliver high-quality statistical reports, study reports, and analysis documentation

  • Provide statistical input during protocol development and multidisciplinary project discussions

  • Conduct quality control (QC) review of statistical deliverables prepared by team members

  • Perform independent peer review of protocols, statistical summaries, listings, and reports

  • Support project planning activities including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and utilization

  • Supervise and mentor junior statisticians within assigned projects

  • Maintain statistical project documentation including electronic and hardcopy records

  • Provide technical guidance on statistical principles and methodologies to internal teams and clients

  • Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards including GCP, GLP, and GMP

  • Contribute to decision-making processes through accurate statistical interpretation and reporting


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in statistical applications within the pharmaceutical, CRO, biotechnology, or clinical research industry

  • Master’s degree in Statistics or related field

  • Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies used in clinical trials and healthcare research

  • Hands-on expertise in SAS programming and statistical procedures

  • Experience in statistical analysis, reporting, and methodology preparation

  • Ability to communicate complex statistical concepts to non-statistical stakeholders

  • Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and project coordination abilities

  • Self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced research environment


Preferred Skills

  • Expertise in Biostatistics and Clinical Trial Data Analysis

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical research workflows

  • Experience with clinical study reporting standards

  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in clinical research

  • Team leadership and mentoring capabilities

  • High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
