Job Title
Safety & Medical Information Database Administrator
Key Responsibilities
System Administration
Configure and maintain the Safety and Medical Information database.
Manage user accounts, roles, and access controls.
Perform routine system checks and maintenance.
Support & Troubleshooting
Act as first-level support for database-related issues via the internal helpdesk.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with IT and vendor teams.
Provide support during system implementation and post-go-live phases.
Compliance & Documentation
Assist in developing and executing validation documentation (URS, FRS, IQ/OQ/PQ).
Ensure system compliance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and other regulatory standards.
Support internal and external audits/inspections.
Training & Collaboration
Develop and update training materials for end-users.
Conduct user training and onboarding sessions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and upgrades.
Projects & Migration
Support internal and client-facing projects related to PV-MI technology systems.
Analyse complex business needs and recommend/implement solutions.
Assist with database migration tasks.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Safety Database administration and/or PV/Medical Information handling.
Knowledge & Skills
Familiarity with Pharmacovigilance workflows and regulatory requirements.
Experience with validation documentation and GxP compliance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and solution-focused.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Medical Information/Safety systems.
Knowledge of cloud-hosted PV systems and SaaS platforms.
