Job Description:

As the Project Lead - Technical Training, you will be responsible for:

Systems and Technical Knowledge:

  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in up to 3 diseases within oncology.

  • Show technical proficiency on various data entry platforms (e.g., Caisis, Helix) and electronic medical record systems.

Training and Monitoring:

  • Train staff on platforms and diseases relevant to each project and create and maintain training materials accordingly.

  • Construct and conduct subject matter tests and demo cases.

  • Monitor QA metrics for the team, identifying and providing training for underperforming staff.

  • Provide ongoing feedback to MDAs and escalate issues/performance concerns to Program/Assistant Program and Project Managers.

  • Provide feedback to clients on the development of abstraction SOPs and guidelines.

Project Management:

  • Facilitate onboarding for new clients and projects, ensuring smooth transitions and understanding of client requirements.

  • Monitor and analyze Average Handling Time (AHT) and conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for improvement.

  • Guide associates to enhance productivity and resolve queries and concerns from associates and quality analysts.

  • Maintain communication with associates and quality analysts to discuss Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on quality concerns and collaborate on addressing productivity challenges.

  • Lead or participate in special projects or client-specific initiatives as directed.

  • May supervise staff.

Security Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance awareness training is completed for all team members.

  • Review and obtain approvals for the Risk Register annually or in case of any changes.

  • Update procedure documents, Risk Register, and ensure they are approved.

  • Review and update HIPAA and information security violations with stakeholders.

  • Monitor ISMS objectives and perform regular checks to ensure adherence to security policies (e.g., no password sharing, no PHI data saved or shared inappropriately).

  • Ensure systems are locked when not in use.


Education & Experience:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Clinical Data Management / Abstraction.

    • Training/coaching experience is beneficial.

    • QA experience preferred.

  • Education:

    • Medicos: BDS, MDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BPT, MD.

    • Non-Medicos: UG/PG in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Microbiology.


Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to provide clear and comprehensive subject matter training to a team of 20 or more.

  • Ability to collaborate with individuals of varying authority levels, including senior and executive leadership.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to perform critical reviews of various types of documents.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to independently solve problems and work cross-culturally.

  • Proven ability to work effectively as a team player with multi-disciplinary project teams.
