Job Description:

As the Project Manager - Technical Training, you will be responsible for:

Systems & Technical Knowledge:

  • Demonstrate disease knowledge and subject matter expertise in oncology.

  • Demonstrate technical expertise on various data entry platforms (e.g., Caisis, Helix) and electronic medical record systems.

Project & Operation Management:

  • Oversee daily training tracking and reporting; coordinate with staff to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely completion of training.

  • Create and maintain training projections and timelines with input from the Program Manager or senior staff.

  • Coordinate onboarding of new hires with HR; communicate any delays or issues to Operations and QA management teams.

  • Identify trends and make suggestions to improve operational processes.

  • Contribute to project planning, development, and execution (e.g., pressure testing and time studies).

  • Interview candidates for technical roles such as MDAs, DAs, QAs, etc.

Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Provide regular training reports and information as requested by clients or leadership.

  • Monitor training tracking to identify non-compliance or operational trends and escalate issues to leadership.

  • Create test assessments and evaluations throughout the project to measure performance.

Information and Systems Management:

  • Coordinate with clients/sponsors and internal teams (Vasta Operations and QA) to ensure appropriate systems access and address/escalate issues as needed.

  • Develop and maintain SOPs and administrative documents related to relevant projects (e.g., training documents, SOPs, training timelines).

Special Projects:

  • Lead non-project specific client communications as directed.

  • Lead or assist with client-specific initiatives (e.g., site visits).

  • Maintain disease-specific training libraries for internal use across the company.

  • Identify and deploy resources to train new team members.

  • Develop interview tests to assess expertise in topics like human anatomy and physiology.

Security Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance awareness training completion for all team members.

  • Review the Risk Register annually or as changes occur and obtain necessary approvals.

  • Update Procedure documents, Risk Register, and ensure approvals.

  • Review and update HIPAA and Information Security violations with stakeholders.

  • Monitor ISMS Objectives.


Education & Experience:

  • Experience: 8-14 years, with 3-6 years of experience handling large teams.

  • Experience working in Clinical Data Management (CDM) or US Healthcare companies.

  • Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in Medicos (BDS, MDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BPT, MD).
