The Senior RX Clinical Programs Pharmacist (VSP/PT) integrates programs designed to improve health outcomes, with a focus on prescription drugs. This role involves moderately complex to complex tasks where in-depth evaluation of various factors is required. The Senior RX Clinical Programs Pharmacist oversees medication therapy, strategies for comprehensive medication reviews, and prescription drug optimization, especially for patients taking multiple medications. You will also drive health awareness with patients through Rx Education and quarterly campaigns, making outbound calls to confirm medication usage and provide counseling.

In this position, you’ll begin influencing departmental strategy, making decisions on technical approaches for project components, and working independently while adhering to organizational objectives. You will have considerable autonomy in determining assignments and objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree
  • Active pharmacist license in the state(s) where you practice
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Passion for improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous pharmacy benefits management experience
  • Experience with Commercial, Medicare, and/or Medicaid
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in managed care
  • Knowledge of Humana’s business processes and systems
  • Previous management or project management experience
  • Proficiency in data analysis using Access, SQL, and Excel
  • Lean or Six Sigma experience/certification

This full-time, remote position offers flexibility and competitive compensation, with a pay range of $102,200 - $140,700 per year, based on experience and location. This role is eligible for bonus incentives.
