Salary:
$113,900 – $189,800 annually

Position Overview:
IQVIA is seeking a Senior Medical and Scientific Advisor (LC-MS) to join its global laboratory team. In this remote-based role, you will be at the forefront of bioanalytical strategy, providing scientific leadership across regulated LC-MS platforms to support US and global drug development initiatives. You’ll act as a key technical advisor, shaping both internal strategies and client-facing solutions across IQVIA's global labs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide early engagement between bioanalytical scientists and clients for LC-MS assays

  • Ensure regulatory alignment and scientific relevance of regulated LC-MS assays

  • Drive evaluation and implementation of new LC-MS technologies

  • Lead scientific escalations and support lab investigations

  • Create and contribute to scientific marketing materials and client-facing documentation

  • Participate in scientific governance meetings and internal strategy sessions

  • Provide technical support for bid defenses and capability presentations

  • Leverage IQVIA’s cross-functional capabilities and global expertise


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline required (B.S. minimum)

  • M.S. or Ph.D. preferred

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in pharma or clinical trial environments, with emphasis on regulated bioanalysis and ICH M10

  • Equivalent education and experience combinations may be considered


Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Deep expertise with LC-MS techniques and platforms

  • Strong understanding of GxP regulations and bioanalytical study support (PK/PD focus)

  • Ability to apply scientific insight to commercial and client objectives

  • Strong communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Willingness to travel and present to bioanalytical and scientific audiences
