Job Description

The Position

The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will be the scientific face of EVERSANA, building and maintaining strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other stakeholders. This role requires expertise in oncology and rare diseases, with the ongoing launch of the first and only FDA-approved therapy for desmoid tumors and the Marketing Authorisation Application submitted in Europe in February 2024.

The Senior MSL will provide scientific insights, support clinical trials, and act as a mentor for new MSLs, contributing significantly to EVERSANA’s medical engagement strategy.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with KOLs across academic centers and community practices.
  • Develop and execute a national KOL engagement strategy aligned with medical field objectives.
  • Support investigator-initiated research and contribute to product medical affairs strategy.
  • Act as a primary trainer and mentor for new MSLs.
  • Stay updated on therapeutic area trends and contribute expertise to advisory boards.
  • Ensure compliance with EU pharmaceutical regulations related to MSL activities.
  • Provide clinical presentations and respond to unsolicited medical inquiries.
  • Travel up to 70% as required for meetings and conferences.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
  • 5-10 years of MSL experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Oncology experience is essential; rare disease experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex scientific data effectively.
  • Expertise with Veeva CRM, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional collaboration, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Must reside within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
