The Opportunity

As a License to Operate Lead, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting the License to Operate Chapter within Roche, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and objectives. This role involves both leadership and functional expertise in key areas such as regulatory affairs, medical information, medical compliance, and quality assurance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain high ethical standards, promote continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with Roche policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Chapter Vision & Mission:
    • Co-create and align the chapter’s vision, mission, and operating model to support Roche's broader strategy.
  • Functional Expertise Development:
    • Ensure chapter members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge in the areas of regulatory affairs, medical information, medical compliance, and quality assurance.
  • Coaching & Performance Excellence:
    • Coach team members to develop both technical and soft skills, while driving performance excellence across the chapter.
  • Cultural Leadership:
    • Foster a dynamic and agile environment, advocating for new ways of working and helping the chapter evolve with a strong focus on agility and cultural change.
  • Collaboration Across Teams:
    • Collaborate with other chapter leads to ensure seamless knowledge-sharing and alignment to deliver shared goals across the affiliate.
  • Ethical Standards & Compliance:
    • Take personal responsibility for maintaining high ethical standards, adhering to Roche’s Code of Conduct, Quality Management System, and relevant industry codes (e.g., IPHA Code of Practice).

Who You Are

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Health Sciences or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in line management and leadership.
  • High level of expertise in at least one key area: Regulatory, Medical Information, Medical Compliance, or Quality Assurance.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
