Role Overview

As a Senior Manager – Operations & Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and strategic initiatives within the R&D IT business unit. You will analyze operational metrics, identify improvement opportunities, enhance processes, and implement innovative solutions such as AI adoption and automation to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with R&D IT Value Streams, Cross-functional Teams, and Business Units to evaluate requirements and document solutions.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, examine, and transform complex data into actionable insights.
  • Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies, eliminate bottlenecks, and streamline workflows to drive productivity and cost-saving opportunities.
  • AI & Automation: Drive the adoption of AI and automation solutions to enhance team capabilities.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Identify risks and act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for GITC Risks.
  • Performance Metrics: Drive initiatives aligned with the R&D IT Scorecard to measure success and optimize performance.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely execution by managing resources, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Strategic Planning: Conduct feasibility studies, demand planning, and forecasting to support business objectives.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align strategies with evolving needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify root causes of business challenges and develop innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience: 15+ years in operations, strategy, or a related field.
  • IT & Service Management: Strong knowledge of IT Quality & Service Management, with hands-on experience in SNOW Modules.
  • Process Improvement: Expertise in process re-engineering and optimization.
  • Pharma & Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of pharma and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments with global teams.
  • Financial Acumen: Knowledge of budgeting, cost management, and financial planning.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and generate insights.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute forward-thinking business strategies.
  • Communication & Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex ideas persuasively.
  • Flexibility & Team Collaboration: Ability to work flexibly during critical situations and collaborate effectively in a team.
