Role Summary

As the Sr. Manager, Forecasting Center of Excellence, you will join Pfizer's Global Commercial Analytics (GCA) team within the Performance Analytics & Insights organization. This role involves driving forecasting excellence across Pfizer’s enterprise by standardizing, centralizing, and improving forecasting approaches. Your expertise will help increase the precision and accuracy of forecasting, influencing critical business decisions. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, you will provide analytical insights and tools to optimize forecasting processes for products across various divisions, including Primary Care, Specialty Care, and the Global/International Division.


Key Responsibilities

Forecasting Excellence

  • Develop and deliver patient-based forecasting tools for both in-line and new-to-launch products.
  • Simplify complex patient flows into actionable forecasting models for internal stakeholders and local market teams.
  • Define and execute a vision to standardize and centralize forecasting platforms and processes.
  • Actively manage external vendors to support the development of forecasting models and tools.

Strategic and Operational Support

  • Support annual planning processes by providing portfolio-level risk and opportunity assessments for leadership.
  • Contribute to enterprise-level initiatives by leveraging analyst reports and secondary data.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in epidemiology forecasting, providing consultation to Business Insights and Reporting (BIR) leaders and teams.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Influence and align with senior stakeholders to drive the adoption of best-in-class forecasting approaches.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality forecasting solutions.

Process Improvement and Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to simplify forecasting workflows and optimize decision-making processes.
  • Leverage analytical tools and methods to enhance forecasting accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., business, statistics); advanced degree preferred (MBA, MA, MS, or similar).
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in biopharma, business analytics, or strategic consulting.
  • Proficiency in forecast modeling using Excel/Excel VBA and data analysis tools.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience overseeing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in business or healthcare (e.g., MA, MS, MBA).
  • Prior experience in biopharma forecasting, life sciences consulting, or financial services.
  • Familiarity with technical strategies and operational excellence frameworks.
  • Expertise in collaboration, stakeholder management, and process optimization.

Work Environment and Requirements

Work Schedule

  • Must work in a Pfizer office 2-3 days per week or as required by the business.
  • Limited business travel (up to 20%).

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $201,400.00 annually.
  • Bonus Eligibility: 17.5% of base salary through Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan.
